To process your request, we require the following:
We review each request for legal validity before disclosing any information. We may reject or seek clarification on requests that are overly broad, lack sufficient legal basis, or do not comply with applicable law.
Depending on the nature of the request and applicable law, we may be able to provide:
We do not provide information that we do not possess. Deleted accounts and deleted content may no longer be available.
In cases involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury, we may respond to emergency disclosure requests without waiting for formal legal process, where permitted by applicable law.
Emergency requests must be sent to [email protected] with "EMERGENCY" in the subject line and must include: a description of the emergency, the information requested, and confirmation that the emergency could not be addressed through normal legal process in the time available.
Unless prohibited by law or court order, we may notify affected users before disclosing their information, so they have the opportunity to challenge the request. We may delay disclosure to allow users to seek legal remedies where appropriate.
We retain user data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable law. Data from deleted accounts may be retained for a limited period for legal, security, and operational purposes before permanent deletion.
For requests from authorities outside Ireland, we require appropriate international legal process (such as a mutual legal assistance treaty request or equivalent mechanism recognized under Irish and EU law) in addition to the requirements listed above.
We aim to acknowledge receipt of valid requests within 5 business days and to respond within 30 days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law. Complex requests may require additional time.
